A blog on my blog of a Brandshatch Place Hotel winter wedding....

Back in January, Jo and Steve held their small and initimate wedding at the lovely Brandshatch Place Hotel and Spa - where I am the receommended photographer.

Read all about it on the blog, via my blog over on the Brandshatch Place Hotel's own blog :-)

Alexis and Joe's wedding at Brandshatch Place Hotel...

Joe and Alexis got married exactly one year ago today at Brandshatch Place Hotel where I am proud to say I'm the recommended photographer!!

A fantastic, happy day filled with lots of laughter.
The day started off with Joe photographing his preparations at his parents home. All the boys in one room mostly in their pants, all wondering how to tie their ties.
Once they were all ready, I hung around candidly capturing them together. Such lovely moments.

I then headed over to the hotel to meet Denise, my second photographer who was already there capturing Alexis’s preparations with her bridesmaids and family. It was all very chilled out, and funny. I remember them all laughing and messing around, watching their guests arriving from the windows.

Once the preparations were all over it was time!!! Time for the bride to meet her groom, time for the groom to wait at the aisle for his bride.
The moment came, an emotional moment as Alexis walked down the aisle with her dad to meet her groom.

After the ceremony it was time to head outside for drinks and canapes whist we did some photographs in the August sunshine.

After dinner it was time for the party!!! Which is when it was time for me to leave after the first few dances.

Oh, and can I just mention the fantastic cheese table....the best cheese table I've ever seen.

Such a lovely day, a lovely couple surrounded by everyone who loves them and who were there to celebrate with them.

Happy first wedding anniversary Joe and Alexis!!! Enjoy!!

A fabulous wedding at The Manor Bickley...

So Dean and Candice’s wedding was exactly one year ago today and it was beautiful!

It took place at the beautiful St. George’s church in Bickley – the same church that Elliot and Sadie Wright, from The Only Way is Essex got married in a few weeks later. In fact, OK magazine got in touch with me after seeing my photo of the church on my Instagram page and asked if they could feature it alongside Elliot and Sadie's wedding in the magazine as their photographers didn't get a photograph!!
Dean and Candice's special day was a real family affair as not only did they get married, they had their three children baptised too so it was a double celebration!

The ceremony was full of special moments which I've captured! The 'first look', as Dean waited at the top of the aisle and saw his beautiful children walking towards him - he blew them a kiss. Moments later he watched his stunning bride walk towards him!
The high five Dean gave his son as he produced the wedding rings, the cuddles between the bride and groom and thier children at the aisle after the baptism whilst thier youngest was fast asleep in the arms of her new Godparent. Such special moments, all captured forever.
After the ceremony we made the most of the beautiful church and took some photographs whilst guests all mingled, there was copious amounts of confetti and we even got Father Richard doing ‘The Dab’ with Dean and Candice’s children.
Dean and Candice left the church in a horse and carriage which held up the traffic – a real fairytale moment! It took them through the streets of Bickley to their wedding reception at The Manor Bickley  - which is set within 6 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and where I am a recommended supplier.

I loved working with Dean and Candice, such a lovely little family. I first met them at a wedding show where Candice instantly fell in love with my work despite having a photographer booked already – who they immediately cancelled after meeting me. Also, it turns out that we’re almost neighbours! Small world!!
Dean is also a very talented tattoo artist, if you ever want a bit of ink be sure to look him up at his studio in Bexleyheath - DOR STOCKER TATTOOS

Wishing them all the best in their life together, happy first wedding anniversary!

A Hall Place Summer Wedding....

So yesterday's wedding was Faye and James's wedding and it was just simply beautiful!!

I'd been really looking forward to Faye and James' wedding since they booked me, but especially after we did their pre-wedding shoot which was such a laugh!!
I wasn't disappointed, in fact, I didn't want to leave!

The beautful St. James's church in Bexley looked beautiful in the summer sunshine and so did Hall Place. So many photo opportunities and we had the place to ourselves in the evening - which made for a very happy wedding photographer ;-)

Faye and James, such a lovely couple and so in love. James is totally 'smutten' with Faye and it was clear to see!
Faye looked absolutely beautiful, she was stunning and I couldn't stop looking at her with a stupid smile on my face - I must've looked like a wally all day.
I loved everything about their wedding and the most stunning Jenny Packham bridesmaids dresses were the best, love them!

Here are a just a few sneaky peaks.....

A Chiddingstone Castle Wedding

Marie and Matthew's wedding was such a beautiful day, from start to finish.

I first met Marie at the Bluewater wedding fair almost two years before their wedding where she booked me as her wedding photographer on the spot.
During the time of them booking me and their wedding, Marie and Matthew had a beautiful baby boy who came along to my studio to have some newborn photographs taken.

So, fast forward to the wedding day. I got to the stunningly beautiful Chiddingstone Castle early and wandered around whilst the talented suppliers - the florists, the cake maker were all putting the finishing touches to their beautiful creations.
I met Matthew and the boys early at the glorious wedding venue shortly before they went off to the parish church just 5 minutes away.
Marie and the girls arrived at the castle shortly after the boys left - a well orchestrated move!

Watching the 3 wedding cars - 3 Rolls Royce's - arrive in convoy at Chiddingstone Castle was almost like a scene from Downton Abbey!

Marie and Matthew decided on the stunning wedding venue because Matthew used to go fishing with his Dad at Chiddingstone Castle when he was a young boy. The Castle stole Marie's heart when she noticed the St Georges Cross flying high! Marie's Dad who passed away sadly in 2010 was very patriotic and it felt like it was a sign from him saying this is the one!
Marie had a photo of her dad attached to her beautiful bouquet, because "I had him close to my heart when walking down the aisle."

Marie's gorgeous bridesmaids all wore a different pastel colour. Marie says "We wanted an elegant, sophisticated summer wedding with the bridesmaids wearing pretty pastels and the decor kept Ivory with a touch of sparkle. I absolutely loved shopping for 7 bridesmaids, 8 Groomsmen and seven page boys!
It actually took two years of planning the wedding of the year because I wanted to research and make sure I had the best of everything! The Wedding was pure class and it blew everyone away so I'm very proud of myself and Matt!

We have so many amazing memories from our wedding day but our favourite would have to be meeting each other at the end of the aisle and saying our vows in front of our son Harry. Matts amazing speech it had our all laughing and tears of happiness and joy.  Matthew bought me a beautiful diamond cross which was a pleasant surprise! The necklace was delivered to me by Matts best man Josh in a beautiful antique jewellery box."

It really was a beautiful day, Chiddingstone Castle is a beautiful wedding venue and is the perfect backdrop for gorgeous wedding photographs.

When I asked Marie about her photographs, here is what she had to say....

...."We met you two years before our wedding at the Bluewater wedding fair. We looked at your work and signed up there and then - we didn’t have to even think about looking else where!  We looked at your work form previous weddings and we were blown away! It was refreshing to meet a photographer with a unique, modern, fresh approach to wedding photography.
We thought you was fantastic a true professional every detail and intimate moment was captured. On the day itself you made us both feel at ease and was calm, unobtrusive, but not afraid to direct people if needed.
The photographs are amazing!!!  Pleased is an understatement we can not thank you enough for capturing so many amazing photographs which we will treasure forever."
