Michelle and Adam's wedding at Ferry House Inn

Last April saw the fabulous wedding of Michelle and Adam, which took place at the gorgeous Ferry House Inn, Isle of Sheppey.

I knew Adam and Michelle as we met a few years previous when I had photographed Adam’s sister’s wedding at Brandshatch Place Hotel however we then met again about a year before their wedding at the Bluewater Wedding Fair where we all had a chat about their plans and arranged a consultation.

Fast forward to their pre-wedding shoot, which we did at the Ferry House Inn on a cold, grey windy day. It was such a funny morning, I knew instantly that the wedding day would be a fun day filled with lots of laughs!

On the wedding day, we met the couple at the cottages on Mocketts Farm which are linked to the Ferry House for bride and groom preparations.
Adam then made his way to the Ferry House Inn to get ready with his best man whilst Michelle and her bridesmaids all stayed in the cottage getting ready – drinking prosecco and laughing, a lot!

I love to photograph the preparations, I stay in the background whilst capturing the little moments, the details, the first look of the bride in her dress! I love it!
There were lots of little details to capture, most important were Michelle’s ah-mazing wedding shoes!! Sparkly, yellow Irregular Choice shoes. But not just one pair of shoes, TWO pairs of Irregular Choice shoes. The second pair were for the evening and were fantastic! See the photo with the flat shoes, with dogs on them….yeah, them! Amazing!

Once Michelle was in her dress and had taken a few selfies with her bridesmaids, it was time to have a few photos before she left to go and get herself married!

Adam was waiting patiently with his mates, if he was nervous he certainly didn’t look it.  They had time to sit and have a drink whilst guests started to arrive.

Braxted Park wedding photography....

Going back to early summer in 2015 when I photographed the beautiful wedding of Ali and Joe at the stunning wedding venue, Braxted Park in Essex.
I first met Ali and Joe at the Bluewater Wedding Fair 18months or so before their wedding where we discussed their wedding and the collection that would best suit them.

Fast forward 18months and we meet up with each other again at one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Essex, Braxted Park ready for their big day to begin!!

It was a beautiful warm sunny day and as soon as I reached the top of the driveway of Braxted Park, I stopped to take venue photographs.
I met up with Sarah from The Wedding Dolls, the wonderful wedding planners, who talked through the plans for the day with me before I found Ali who was getting ready in the cottage with her bridesmaids.

During the preparation photographs I was able to flit between the bride and groom to take photographs of them due to both of them getting ready at the venue – it certainly kept me fit, running from one site to another.

The details of the day were stunning, the bridesmaids colours, the flowers, the guest ‘day plans’, the table plan and even the personalised cocktails – everything was beautiful!

The time came for Ali to walk down the aisle to meet her groom, her husband to be, and it was perfect! The ceremony took place outside  in the Knott Garden and with the weather as warm as it was, it was the perfect setting.

A beautiful wedding at Chiddingstone Castle

It was such a beautiful day, from start to finish.

I met Marie at the Bluewater wedding fair almost two years ago where she booked me as her wedding photographer. In between, Marie and Matthew have had a beautiful baby boy who came along to my studio earlier this year to have some newborn photographs taken.

I met Matthew and the boys early at Chiddingstone Castle before they went off to the church 5 minutes away.
