A Fabulous Wedding At The Manor Bickley

So Dean and Candice’s wedding was exactly one year ago today and it was beautiful!

It took place at the beautiful St. George’s church in Bickley – the same church that Elliot and Sadie Wright, from The Only Way is Essex got married in just a few weeks later.

In fact, OK magazine got in touch with me after seeing my photo of the church in Bickley on my Instagram page and asked if they could feature it alongside Elliot and Sadie’s wedding in the magazine as their photographers didn’t get a photograph!!
Dean and Candice’s special day was a real family affair as not only did they get married, they had their three children baptised too so it was a double celebration!

The ceremony was full of special moments which I’ve captured! The ‘first look’, as Dean waited at the top of the aisle and saw his beautiful children walking towards him – he blew them a kiss. Moments later he watched his stunning bride walk towards him!
The high five Dean gave his son as he produced the wedding rings, the cuddles between the bride and groom and thier children at the aisle after the baptism whilst thier youngest was fast asleep in the arms of her new Godparent. Such special moments, all captured forever.
After the ceremony we made the most of the beautiful church and took some photographs whilst guests all mingled, there was copious amounts of confetti and we even got Father Richard doing ‘The Dab’ with Dean and Candice’s children.
Dean and Candice left the church in a horse and carriage which held up the traffic – a real fairytale moment! It took them through the streets of Bickley to their wedding reception at The Manor Bickley – which is set within 6 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and where I am a recommended supplier.

I loved working with Dean and Candice, such a lovely little family. I first met them at a wedding show where Candice instantly fell in love with my work despite having a photographer booked already – who they immediately cancelled after meeting me. Also, it turns out that we’re almost neighbours! Small world!!
Dean is also a very talented tattoo artist, if you ever want a bit of ink be sure to look him up at his tattoo studio, Off The Rails, in Beckenham.

Wishing them all the best in their life together, happy first wedding anniversary!
